Fall Bucket List

Fall Bucket List.

Today's challenge was to come up with a Fall bucket list. Although I didn't quite post everyday,  I love that I was challenged to create a new blog post everyday about one of my favorite seasons.

Makeup Bag

Since I'm constantly on the go, I never leave my house without my makeup bag. Since it's fall, I've switched up the items a bit to reflect my "Everyday" look. Here's a little peak into my makeup bag.

During the fall months, I tend to steer away from putting foundation on my face daily in order to let it breath during the dry cold weather. Here are some of my everyday favorites for this month.

1. Kelly Osbourne's Bloody Brilliant Quad from MAC: This palette has 4 gorgeous shades that blend like a dream. For a more detailed description, check out my previous post on this collection here.

2. Lorac Take a Brow Eyebrow Kit: I love this little baby because of the brush! LoL Don't get me wrong, the colors are great for my brows and the wax definitely helps to lay down those little strays. However, the brush is really what makes this kit, in my opinion. If you'd like to grab your own, you can purchase it here.

3. Teeez Lipstick in Cabernet: I received this lippie in one of my Lip Factory boxes. If you're new to lip factory it's a monthly beauty subscription box that's filled with majority lip related products and they also throw in an extra beauty item. This lipstick is super creamy and pigmented and is at the top of my list for plum lippies this year.

4. City Color Eye shadow in Gold: Although I do not wear this color everyday, I keep it in my mup bag for those days when I need an extra shimmer on my eyes. It's a cream based eyeshaadow with a high pigmentation and little gold flakes are pressed into the color. It also blends like a dream.

5. Rihanna Highlight in: This Mac Rihanna skinfinish highlight is my absolute favs for a smooth finish. After applying my foundation and blush I'll blend this on my checkbones for an extra glow.

6. Mac Prolongwear Concealer: I've tried so many concelears and they tend to leave my face just cakey. This one only takes a small drop and it can also be substituted for your extra coverage foundation.

So what's in your makeup bag? Feel free to share below or tag me in your blog post.

Have a great day beauties!

VMA Beauties

PC to MTV.com

In traditional fashion, you know I have to speak on last night's VMA's. Usually, I pass up this opportunity because, well, it's BORING! LoL However, last night's VMA's were definitely on point for a few reasons.

So of course, the highlight of the night was none other than Mrs. Carter! Who proved once and for all that she will always raise the bar in music, dance and fashion! But I digress, let's actually recap some of  the fashion and beauty that stood out to me, from the night.

Let's start with who absolutely killed it in every way possible, besides Queen Bey of course! ;)

PC to Google.com

JLO is the definition of perfection in this stunning Charbel Zoe dress! The makeup compliments her golden skin and is very subtle! I absolutely love a nude lip on Jlo. Well played, gorgeous!

Oh, Miss Kylie! My how you've grown into such a beautiful young woman! I love everything about this look! The Dress, the hair, the shoes and of course the makeup! Kylie does well with a vampy lip. Dark colors compliment her olive skin tone perfectly. **3 twirls to her stylist**

Ariana Grande can pair just about anything with thigh high boots. I love this little gem. Her voice can seriously move a crowd and her fashion sense for being so young, is on point. Ariana is wearing a semi-Hollywood glam look with a soft smokey eye and dark red lips. Love this!

There's nothing crazy at all about Uzo Aduba as she clearly can do no wrong! I only have one word for this look and it's FIERCE! Her stance alone screams that she's not here to put on a show but that she's definitely making a statement! With a silver smokey eye paired with bold dark red lips, she's just stunning! Not to mention, her hair is laid hunty!

Ms. Minaj is gorgeous with her natural dark hair. With a smudged cat eye and nude lips, her makeup compliments her entire look perfectly.

PC to JustJared.com

In the words of Jay Z, "On to the next one!"  Beyonce is just glowing in this Nicolas Jebran Black Sheer Gown.
With shades of bronze and subtle smokey eye, she is just glowing on the red carpet. Her stylist Ty Hunter is just a beat behind her, ensuring that every single inch is perfection.

Her makeup from her performance was just as stunning! Still rocking the soft smokey eye but with a pop of color on the lips! Ugh, so much life!

Let's talk about Beyonce's 15 minute VMA performance that left the audience in tears! Sigh. Now, I've seen this woman perform live a few times but I've never seen her do damn near a whole album in 15 minutes! LAWDD!

And that she did! My edges are gone, I cannot focus.. all I want to do is watch Bey dance and drop it... all day long.

She even had Blue Ivy, groovin!

 Get it, Blue!

I leave you with this. Check out Mrs. Carter's full performance here!

So.. besides Bey, what were your thoughts on this year's VMA's? Feel free to drop a comment below.

MAC's Osbourne Collection Review

Hello Beauties! I apologize for the delay on this review as life has been busy and it's always a balancing act working full time, being a Mommy and so on. Anywho, I was able to grab a few items from Mac's Osbourne Collection so lets dive right in.

Summertime Glam

If you're like me, you cannot wait for the warm summer weather to get here! In order to enjoy the sunshine comfortably, you'll need to grab some beauty items that are perfect for on the go and for everyday summer glam. Here are a few items currently on my favorite's list!

So, first things first.. let's talk about the "must have" items in your makeup bag this summer.

Tinted Me:

Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer, has been my go to this summer. I opted to put my foundations to the side and have been sticking with a tinted moisturizer to keep my skin hydrated and protected in this hot desert. (Thanks, Vegas)
Anywho, I love this tinted moisturizer especially since it's very lightweight and has SPF. I tend to have combination/oily skin throughout the year but in the summer month's my skin craves moisture. I can put this on early in the morning and wear it all day without blotting even once. Plus, I don't even need to wear a primer underneath this product. Overall, I give it 4 out of 5 stars! ;)

                                                              Love those lips:

PC to Google.com

It's no secret that I'm in love with everything EOS. Their lip balms have been my favorite all year long. They're extra moisturizing and full of natural oils and vitamin E. Just perfect to quench your lips during the warm summer months.

**PRO TIP** Try popping this bad boy in the freezer for a couple hours. Apply right before you walk out the door for a cool sensation.

                                                       Too Faced Melted Lipsticks:

PC to Toofaced.com

Another hit this summer has been my Too Faced Melted lipstick. If you're looking for a high pigmented, long lasting and ultra glossy lip product, this will be your holy grail for the summer.

Each color is very pigmented. Best of all, I can apply these without feeling like I have a thick icky gloss all over my lips. My current favorite color is "Melted Fuschia."

                                                              Hydrate your skin:

PC to YBskin.com
For an extra pick me up and to give my skin an extra dewy look, I love Youngblood's Minerals in the Mist. This lil baby is full of vitamins and not to mention it smells pretty great too. My favorite right now is Recharge.

Bronze me:

PC to toofaced.com

This Too Faced Bonjour Soleil set is perfect for all beauties that would love an extra glow. Fully pigmented and made with Cocoa so it smells amazing!

**PRO TIP** For my gorgeous dark skinned beauties, do not sleep on a good bronzer. An added highlight on top of your foundation or tinted moisturizer is just gorgeous on dark skin. Sweep on top of your cheekbones and across nose. Not convinced? Check out the beauty below:

PC to totalbeauty.com

Waterproof me!

PC to google.com

There's nothing worse than a mascara on a hot summer day that runs and makes you look like a raccoon.

PC to google.com

So save yourself some time and grab a waterproof mascara. Trust me, it's worth the investment. My go to this summer has been Bobbi Brown's Smudge proof mascara which has definitely held up to the hype.

Get Nailed!

PC to Pinterest.com

Complete your summer look with a pop of color on your nails. Currently, I'm obsessed with Zoya polish. It's long lasting and has a wide range of color options.

**Pro Tips** To give your nails a super drying boost, dip them in ice cold water after you've applied your last top coat.

Which items are you adding to your makeup bag this summer? Feel free to share some of your favorites with me!

Also, I'd be happy to review any items that your not quite sure about, just message me.

Thanks for reading!

Urban Decay`s Electric Palette

Urban Decay`s Electric Palette

I've been so busy lately I haven't had a chance to post a blog for you beauties. Have no fear, I'm back with a review that will hopefully help any of you beauty fanatics that have been on the fence about purchasing this palette.

If you follow me on any of the social networks then you know just how obsessed I've been about this palette since I heard of it back in January.

Urban Decay has always been known for their fun and festive packaging, wide variety of vegan products and it's extreme pigmentation. This palette definitely has all of this and more!

10 pressed pigments, including 2 previously released shades (chaos and urban) perfectly complete this palette for any color junkie.

 Check out my swatches below:

As you can tell from the swatches above, these shades are bright and super pigmented. A little truly goes a long way and I didn't even use a base or primer underneath.
I prefer using pigments because they blend extremely well and you can build color on top of color easily.

**Pro tip** Try mixing the pigments to create different shades and liners.

I had to play with this palette right away so I created a little look on one of my favorite canvases :)

Colors used: Gonzo, Chaos and revolt on lid. Freak on waterline.

So what do you think? Will you be adding this palette to your collection?

Thanks for reading beauties!
