As a child, one of my favorite Disney movies was Sleeping Beauty. Not only was it a magical film but the evil witch known as Maleficient pretty much terrified the hell outta me. Lol I'm excited for this film and even more ecstatic that Angelina Jolie is playing Maleficient. She is def the inspiration behind this upcoming makeup release!
This is not MAC's first Disney inspired release. In 2010, the brand launched its Venomous Villains make-up collection, inspired by Cruella De Vil, Snow White's Evil Queen and Maleficent herself. Check out the previous release for the Maleficent products below:
As you can tell from the items above, the colors are dark and sultry to reflect Maleficent's evil look.
