🔆Summer Essentials🔆

It's getting warmer and your skin is in need of a lil extra TLC. Here are some of my favorite products and recommendations to protect your skin this summer.

Lip Balm:

Use a lip balm that has SPF in it! My fav is Maybelline's Baby Lips!

Blotting Papers:

These lil babies are a life saver during the hot summer months. If you have combination or oily skin like me, you will appreciate having these live savers in your makeup bag. My favorite right now are the NYX green tea blotting papers:



Skin Mist:

There's nothing like having a bottle of hydrating facial spray in your bag, on a hot summer day! My fav is Youngblood Cosmetic's Mineral in the Mist in Recharge. You can purchase this item on their website:

BB Cream:

If you're in need of a little color during the summer, a BB cream is your best friend. My new fav is Stila's 10 in 1 BB cream with SPF! I love how this BB cream makes my skin feel! It's oil and parabin free and leaves your skin feeling lightlymoisturized with a bit of color and SPF as well. 




Moisturizer:

If you're in a hurry or it's just too hot for you to even put on foundation, I recommend
Philosophy's Hope Oil-free moisterizer w/spf. Best thing about this lil baby is it has a matte finish!






Bronzer:

I'll have to admit, I'm not a big fan of most bronzers since the few that I've tried have left a glittery residue on my skin. However, Buxom's Hot Escapes Bronzer has won me over!! It goes on smooth and leaves a nice glow and it's great for contouring! Did I mention it smells amazing too?!? ;)



Sunscreen:

Living in the desert has forced me to invest in a sunscreen that will truly protect my sensitive skin. My favorite is Aveeno's Continous Sunscreen w/ spf 50. 

A little tip: ** Don't forget to re-apply sunscreen every 1 to 2 hours to ensure that you're getting the proper coverage. Also, you should be using about a shotglass full of sunscreen for your entire body.



Tanning Oil:

Since I'm a natural tan girl, I don't have a need for a tanning oil. However, I do love the smell of Hawaiian tropics' tanning oil and the reviews on this bad boy are all stars!! ✨✨✨
